Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a self-defense based martial art and modern sport, which subscribes to the theory that through the proper and efficient application of leverage and technique, a smaller or weaker person can defeat a larger opponent.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a ground fighting martial art much different then Karate and Taekwondo. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique – most notably by applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. BJJ training can be used for sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or self-defense.
At Ingram’s Martial Arts we train hard and have lots of fun while doing it. While training is intense, it’s in a very relaxed environment. We have great guys and girls here who are always helping out and encouraging each other. It’s like a big family.

MUAY THAI

This is a fun high intensity workout that will get you in great shape. Each class is designed so that everyone in any condition will get a good workout. By learning the art of Muay Thai it will increase your balance, strength, confidence, and while getting you in great shape.
Muay Thai is a fighting system developed in Thailand that is often referred to as the art of eight limbs. Utilizing parts of the body such as your feet, hands, elbows, and knees Muay Thai is well known all over the world for its hard hitting strikes. Muay Thai is also considered one of the most intense stand up martial arts in the world.
Whether you are wanting to become a fighter or just get in shape Muay Thai is a great way to do both. The way the classes are taught so that a fighter will get the detailed techniques required for fighting and everyone else will get a fun way to work out.
